Second Meeting.

I met with Anne and her intern Abby at the storage space. We had a long discussion about what's in all of her boxes, about some of the challenges she has had accessing what she has previously donated to UW: this is primarily because the collection is held off site,

Given that it takes about an hour for me to process a box, I saw two options for moving forward:

  1. I could go to the item level on the ArtsWire boxes to match the work of a group of interns who had previously processed Boxes 1-6.

  2. I could complete the ArtsWire boxes to the folder level, then start working on the rest of her collection.

Anne selected the second option. She's working on a book and will perhaps someday write a memoire. Knowing what is in each box will be highly beneficial. She also gets requests for interviews and articles and frequently mines the boxes for materials. Having content lists may assist her, or her interns, in returning the materials to the correct location for future research.
